Job Description

Database Clerk

Core Functions / Responsibilities:
Under the direct supervision of Township Community Project Assistant-TCPA (Migrant
mapping) and overall management of Head of Sub office, the incumbent will be
responsible for

* Compile reports from monthly data collection

* Entry of data from paper-based document into electronic database under the
guidance of TCPA

* Assist TCPA in the process of pre-entry data verification and post-entry data
verification of reports

* Keep the records and reports systematically for auditing purpose and filing the
documents properly

* Maintain the project information and database system to a high level of accuracy
and completeness, and Ensure effective implementation of database back-up

* Thoroughly following M & E guidelines, the incumbent will perform all monitoring
and database function under the guidance of Technical Coordinator (migrant
mapping) in Yangon office

* Support data collection, entry and cleaning of data for project and migration
related assessment, survey and research activities
Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors
Job Requirements
Education

* A Bachelor’s degree holder

* High School Degree or Diploma with data collection experience
Experience

* Myanmar National

* Bachelor Degree with one year working experience is desirable.

* Experience in usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, etc.)

* Experience in data entry and knowledge about health data is an advantage
Skill
 Experience working with international organizations, international humanitarian
organizations, non-government organization is an advantage
 Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and data entry skills is an
advantage
Languages

* Fluency in English and Myanmar (oral and written)
